This has led to strong customer demand for a hybrid architecture where the same services, functionality, and ease of application portability exist between their local and public cloud environments. So far, however, no solution has been able to close the gap between cloud and on-premises environments. On-site offerings from other cloud providers give you a minimal portion of the services available in their open public cloud regions.
