These operating systems also enable multithreading, in which parallel input/output operations of the user programs or tasks can be carried out. RAID can also be implemented in hardware using special adapters and the host computer downloads the work to break down the operations of the stages of input and output in parallel.
In short, we can say that RAID is very useful for the deployment of parallel processing of disk I/O and distribution of the disk I/O across all available disks. Parallel processing and distributing disk I/O on multiple disks are improving disk throughput and performance enhancement.
